Notes

  • Still on vacation and once again I only caught bits of this F1 weekend.
  • The Bahrain Grand Prix hosted in Malaysia, how does that sound? 😂 Absolutely ridiculous, but the circuit is stunning.
  • Front row after qualifying with Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton 🔥
  • I stopped somewhere to catch the race start, only to see it was pouring down there and the start was delayed because of the rain.
  • Some software error during the formation lap and half the cars found themselves limited to 30 km/h.
  • I also caught the last 5 laps of the race in a bar full of English fans in Ypsos.
  • Max P1, Antonelli P2, Lewis P3, Charles P4. Russell retired 4 laps before the end. All in all a very good weekend 😅, the English fans there were not quite of the same opinion.
  • Somehow Ferrari managed to get the most out of a race where they completely botched the strategy at the start.
  • I’m happy for Max, his first win of the year, it sounds weird to read that considering how he dominated the past few years.
  • And last but not least, Alonso P8!!!
